WHAT ABOUT THE EXPERIMENT? 
 

GPALMEC, based in Trentino, Italy, spearheads an experiment focusing on autonomous driving for agricultural vehicles. With safety and efficiency in mind, the project aims to implement autonomous driving technology to enhance productivity and reduce risks associated with manual operation. By leveraging advanced sensors and control systems, GPALMEC seeks to revolutionize the agricultural industry by introducing smart capabilities to farming machinery. 


 

WHAT IS EXPECTED?  
 

Anticipated outcomes include a significant improvement in safety standards, with autonomous driving systems minimizing the risk of accidents caused by human error or fatigue. Additionally, the project aims to enhance operational efficiency by enabling vehicles to navigate fields autonomously, optimizing routes and avoiding obstacles.
